Events Committee Description:
The Events Committee advises staff on annual, regional, and special event planning. Includes feedback on host site selection, schedule, promotion, general event policies.
Member Commitment: Committee members to commit to 1 calendar year of service. The committee meets monthly in the few months runup before an event, and then every 2-3 months the rest of the year. In between meetings, committee members are expected to respond to emails and to continue work on any specific tasks, sub-projects, or action items they’ve agreed to.
Nomination process: Rolling. Candidates fill out the application form, application reviews at every meeting. Approval by 2/3 vote by committee members present at the meeting.
